Season 16 Playoff Info
Hey all. Thanks for another great season. With the end of the season just around the corner, here is the lowdown on all the information you need for next Saturday’s playoffs.
General Info
Date- Saturday, May 30
Location- Roy Stibbs Elementary
Tiers will be finalized next Thursday, May 28 once all the play has finished and the standings are in. While we can’t tell you exactly what tier you are in, the start times for each tier are as follows:
L Tier (Teams ranked 33-40)- 9:45 AM
D Tier (22-32)- 11:15 AM
C Tier (15-21)- 12:45 PM
B Tier (8-14)- 2:15
A Tier (1-7)- 3:30
Please note that playoffs runs on an extremely tight schedule, so we will be looking to run as punctually as possible If your team is not ready to play when your tier begins, then you will forfeit those games.
Important Note
We will not be providing a concession this year. Also note that Roy Stibbs does not currently have running water fountains, so PLEASE bring your own WATER!!
Player Qualifications and Borrowing Players
All players must have played a minimum of 4 weeks and have signed the waiver. We will be doing waiver checks for all players. Exceptions can be made but must be approved before Saturday. Requests for exceptions should be sent to ddomingo@cdldodgeball.ca
All teams must have a minimum of 1 female player from their own team. If a team does not have at least one of their own female players they will forfeit the set.
Female players may be borrowed from other teams in order to fit the minimum requirement of female players. Female players may not be borrowed to fill any other roster spots (3rd girl).
The following rules apply to borrowing subs
- All subs must be female
- subs must come from a lower tier (with the exception of L tier)
- Players may only be borrowed for one set until all possible available subs have been used
- When no new subs are available, previously used subs may be used a second time
- Subs can only come from the same tier in the event that no other players are available to sub from lower tiers
- Teams may not take subs from higher tiers
PARTY!!!
The annual playoff after-party continues at Foggy Dew Pub on North Road. We will be there at around 9PM and encourage you to come party with us. Come celebrate another great season with us.
