Yes its that time of the year again! As our 10th season winds down, it is time for us to reach the pinnicle of the CDL season… PLAYOFFS!
Structure:
– Teams will be put into teirs with either 8 or 12 teams per tier.
– It will be a double elimination tournament with the first few rounds being best of 3s, later rounds being best of 5s.
Things to Know:
– Veteran reffs will be calling the rules to their fullest extent. It is the job of the Captain to make sure that each and every one of their players must be aware of these rules.
– Male players must have played 6 weeks to be eligible, females a minimum of 4. Playing with illegitimate players will result in the forefit of your series.
– If you are unable to field a team, or are having problems finding girls, contact us immediatly.
– Games will be starting as quickly as we can, with very little turn around. Teams are expected to know when they are playing, and to be ready for it. If your team is not present for the start of the match, a very short grace period will be given, after that, the team forfeits the series.
– The Gym will be open at 10:00am for those who want to warm up early. L Tier will start promptly at 10:30am.
Reminders:
– There will be a BBQ set up, so bring some spare change and have a CDL smokie or two!
– Whilst your brining cash, we will have our CDL Merch booth set up for your last crack at some cool gear before summer vacation! Hmmm… a 20$ will buy you a shirt, a drink, and a smokie….
– There will be a Playoff After Party at the Foggy Dew on Saturday Night! Get there early to beat the line, and party with some CDLers!
