Season 14 Fee Increase

Dear CDL Players,

This message serves to inform you that the CDL will be raising its registration fees to $525 effective for the upcoming Spring Season (February 2014).

While we are confident that we are still one of the best values of any recreational sports leagues, we would like to take this opportunity to clarify why a fee increase is necessary at this time.

In addition to rising operation costs (particularly with our gym rentals), we have decided that now is the time to make a push to better the all-around quality of our league. With this increase in fees we hope to make everything better, from the quality of our equipment, to our events, multimedia and more. Additionally, we are hoping to better prepare for our future as an organization, sustaining the CDL as a long time fixture in this community.

The CDL is a non-profit organization that is run entirely by volunteers (including the three of us) who run this league for one reason: to create a fun, inclusive community based around the sport of dodgeball. We understand that an increase in fees is never a popular decision. That said, we pledge to you, our players and friends, that this increase exists solely to make our league better for all of us.

Should you wish to discuss this change in policy, please direct your concerns to any of us, the 3 Executive Directors of the CDL. Our contact info has been listed below.

Thanks for your understanding. We’ll see you on the courts,
Your CDL Executive Directors
Darren, Mark & Mason
